Dear Kathryn,
I have just learned that we have a French teaching position available at the [school] in Kuwait that I would like to consider you for.
If you are interested, please give me the times and phone numbers where and when I can best reach you for the next couple of days. I trust the end of your term has been enjoyable and successful and I look forward to hearing from you...again...soon.
Sincerely,Gwen
So we chatted it up this morning - she called at 11am, and I was practically having a panic attack around 10:45. The closer it got to 11, the faster my heart beat....but it was such a great conversation. She managed to ask the basic "get comfortable" questions, such as "why did you choose Dalhousie" and "where is Grafton, anyways?" And then she let me ask question after question after question.
So...I'm going to Kuwait next year! Once I accept the position.
The clock on the right hand side is Kuwaiti time. (GMT + 3 hours).
August 15th, baby. Here I come.
I don't think that I expected God to answer these prayers quite so quickly!
And if anyone wants to come visit, I'll have an extra bedroom.
I just might never leave.
