You can keep your blog private by:
1) Unchecking the boxes in the 'Settings' -> 'Basic' tab that say, "Add your blog to our listings?" and "Let search engines find your blog?"
2) Changing your URL in the 'Settings' -> 'Publishing' tab. It will not redirect a reader to your new page if they type in your old URL.
That way, nobody will be able to find your blog again. Also,you might want to ask the Psychology teacher to take down the link to your blog from hers.
You don't have to be 'screwed'...
