We just got back from a 5 day trip to Dubai, which was absolutely wonderful. It involved shopping at the Mall of the Emirates, Skiing indoors at Ski Dubai, visiting the Global Village, going on a desert safari/dune bashing excursion, getting henna tattoos, belly dancing, and going out dancing at a club! It was a fantastic time and I've put plenty of pictures up on Facebook. Plenty being 148. Yeah. That's pretty good considering I took ~750.

Dubai is similar to Kuwait, although it looks much newer and thus nicer. It's not as dirty as Kuwait, either, in terms of garbage everywhere. And the desert was amazing. Honestly, we haven't been to the desert in Kuwait yet, so I can't really compare the two, but I truly loved it. It was hard to come back to teaching this week; but I'm sure we'll get the hang of it....just in time for our next vacation on March 19th :P

Teaching's becoming much tougher, and it doesn't help that we have two breaks within the course of a month. Our only comfort is that in 18 days we will be off on another adventure to Egypt! I keep praying for cooperation and creativity, but it seems that God wants to work on my patience above all else. I never realized how much I was lacking in the patience department until I became a teacher...
