Maybe tomorrow, I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on.

weather worth writing home about

When I woke up this morning, at 5:45am, it was bright and sunny.  There was one strange cloud in the sky later, when I could look directly at the sun without squinting, but it was small.  Later on…

At 7:50am, there were ominous clouds to the west.  Something’s up…. IMG_3859And up it was.  7:52am it was very very dark in my apartment. You can see the light from my computer screen shining on the wall. IMG_3864 7:56am: The sky is dark brown and the pressure has changed significantly.

This is what they call a saraya.IMG_3866It seems as if there’s no end in sight…and it’s getting windier and windier.IMG_3870 7:59am – it starts raining…IMG_3872 8:05am: it’s pouring rain, with lightning, lightning, lightning….IMG_3876 The clouds are very low and swirly. It’s awesome.IMG_3879 By 8:48am, it’s clearing up.  Just in time to get groceries!IMG_3881 And at 10:08am, it’s bright and sunny once again.  IMG_3882

On the odd days that aren’t either super sunny or disgustingly duststormy, we’re bound to get something to get the Canadians talking.  How we miss our rain and snow.  But seriously – sunshine 85% of the time is worth finding something to talk about other than the weather ;)
