Yesterday I learned that there's a reason our hot is cold and our cold is hot (in regards to the taps in our apartments). In Kuwait, the water tanks are kept on the roof - and so the hot sun warms them up. So for the time being, we keep the hot water heaters off so that the hot is cold...otherwise the cold would be hot and the hot would be scalding. We have two switches in our apartments for the heaters. Of course, they didn't tell us this until yesterday.
...and my own shower the other day was really, really hot. And now I know why!
Perhaps the switches need to be labelled a little better....they just look like light switches. Light switches to nowhere.

You're learning so much in such a short time. When will it get "cold" enough to turn on the hotwater heater?
Hey kiddo:
You tell an amazing tale. It's a hot story! Somewhat like the 'who's on first, what's on second' scenario.
Keep us posted...
