But we got to go shopping.
This is a parking lot at the Sharq Souk (Market...which was really a mall). They have coverings! It's right by the water, but of course, there is no picture of that because I ... didn't take one. Quoi?

This is people waiting. We did a lot of that. This is actually at the end of the day, but how would you know that? Excited to go home.

This was the expat line. Note the cute pictures of families and of Kuwaities.

What's wrong with this sign? (Grammatically, not semantically). Although the cute picture that went with it had a baby in a womb saying "Please them them about me, Mum!" Darn, should have gotten a picture!

Going to get x-rayed.

Smile! See the Kuwait flags.

This is some buildings in downtown Kuwait City. Since the war was so recently, so many of the buildings and streets are so new. Also, because of the war, there is so much construction everywhere. It's not strange to see holes in the sidewalks or large piles of sand!

Hopefully soon we will all be officially residents of Kuwait :)

I look forward to your experiences of the day. You are having quite a few of those, and you haven't started teaching yet...I am sure you will have more stories to tell us once you start interacting with your students.
So, do you need any Toidy paper yet? Tea? T....ons?
