My new goal: to create paper cranes in every country I visit. So far...success! This is Monica posing with the crane.

Heather and Briana. Heather's making the "peace out" sign but you can't really see it. There's a glass in the way.

And the TIRE KILLER...sadly you can't see the ruts in the road that 'apparently' kill the tires. Maybe it wasn't set, that's a possibility!

Today we went to the Friday Souk (yes, yes I know it's Thursday...technicalities, technicalities). It's a HUGE outdoor market, and Hassan gave us 2 hours. After 45 minutes we were all ready to go home! But we lasted the 2 hours in the hot air, and at 11:25 (5 minutes before our 2 hour deadline) we found out that the mall beside the souk is air conditioned. Sigh!

Check out THIS grammar. I love it! All the vendors would see us and say, "Welcome, discount" or even "Welcome, teacher" which was neat, that they assumed we were teachers. I bought a tablecloth, you can see it sort of in the bag. The guy tried to sell me his entire stock! I bought one thing.

While we were sitting outside waiting, little Kuwaiti children would walk by us and just stare. So many white people! One Kuwaiti woman actually greeted us all as she walked by! I was impressed. The only disappointment I have is the amount of garbage lying around everywhere. I guess there are no environmental movements going on in Kuwait! They don't even recycle. It's sad.
