Maybe tomorrow, I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on.

Iran

Last week was Spring Break, which was just around Easter - so we had possibly the best week ever. After our Easter extravaganza, Melissa and I hopped on a plane (after spending a couple hours and a lot of KD in the Iranian Embassy) and headed for a whirlwind trip of Iran.
Really, all we saw was Tehran and Shiraz, and a lot of clouds and mountains from the sky, but it was magnificent.
Iran is beautiful. Tehran was very chilly - it had snowed the morning of the day we arrived. It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Shiraz was warm and sunny. Our tour guide believed that history began in Iran. I wouldn't doubt it (but I also wouldn't admit it to him).
Iran is blessed with incredible history, beautiful nature, and very pious religion. It is a photographer's dream. If it weren't for the extremely expensive and difficult visa to get there, we would visit more often. And we WILL return someday, to see Isfahan, Yasd, and Kish...for much longer than 2 days.

Oh wow. Beautiful. You just did another of my dream trips. It's a good thing I like you so much or I might start to get jealous :)
