I just love being warm! I can't stand the cold...when I was home last Christmas for 4 weeks, I nearly froze. And those horrible convulsive shivers when it's 20-below and you just can't get warm...I know I may have to return to Canada someday and I can't imagine a real winter after all this!
Some days I like to pretend we live in a sauna. But when it's humid, it's unbearable. At that point, you just have to stay inside. And put towels in front of the sliding glass doors because otherwise the condensation creates little floods on the floor!
It's now less than 40°C and it's just perfect. We'll have this for a few more weeks, before it gets below 25°C and we say "brrr". I've noticed that the temperature will stay steady for weeks on end, and then it gets humid. You know the temperature is going to drop somewhat when the humidity comes out to play - so after a few days of horrid humidity, it's dry and lovely again, and a few degrees cooler...until the next humid spell, rain, or duststorm.
(Oh, and I love the heat because there's air conditioning everywhere, otherwise I would agree with you. When I'm cold, I go outside to warm up!)
